Which is better? studio fix ? mineral makeup? or other brands?

ok so i am curious about various brands of makeups


i know that makeup is really important b/c we dont want to put lame stuff on our faces and destroy our skin etc.





so please help =)

b/c i've heard that loreal has some makeup that's equal quality as studio fix but cheaper

i used mac- too heavy


i used clinique - too blotchy


i used cover girl - wanted to rip m own face off


i used Loreal - wore off easily


i used Lancome- way to expensive





i used Bare minerals -no joke - serious victory here!!!


i dont look like i am wearing makeup but like a model with perfect skin! and i have horribly greasy oily skin and you wouldnt know if after waering Bare minerals all day - with soft glow!!!! i read a bunch of reviews on Yahoo answers and everyone swore by Bare min. i had to try and now i wnt go to anything else!! they should really put out sample packs thru mail and no one would even use anything else..i wish i would have tried this sooner!!!





plus to replace your main color is only about $20 and my sister and everyone i talk to say that container lasts about a year!!! well worth it!!!!!!!!!!! go on ebay get a starter kit cheap!! you will try it eventually like me you will wish u didnt wait....Which is better? studio fix ? mineral makeup? or other brands?
i use both. cuz studio fix is liquid foundation n bare minerals is powder n it gives the the flawless look

mineral is best but also the most expensive so go with what you can afford
I like mary-kay better than anything, but it b/c everything else breaks my face out. iy really just depends on your skin type. my aunt used to use mary-kay but now she uses loreal and she likes it just the same
I like MAC Select SPF15, its a medium coverage, whereas Studio Fix is full coverage and can look painted on. Its really important to make sure your complexion is not dull when you put on foundation, as foundation makes you look all one colour. For this reason, use a little illuminator or blush or bronzer.
the way i see it, you get what you pay for. the cheaper brands are simply not going to have the same quality as the more expensive department stores. studio fix foundation by Mac is completely worth it, it goes on like a dream and photographs excellently. plus they have the best variety of eye shadow colors.





the best thing to do is to buy only your most important proudcts that you will use the most from the dept. stores (for me its my eyeliner)

Personally, I prefer mineral make up. Physicians Formula is a good brand, yet it is quite expensive, (say about $16.99 CAD for powder-pressed foundation). It is made especially for people with sensitive and acne-prone skin, therefore it does not cause acne and it is oil-free. Physicians Formula also just came out with a new 100% Organic Make-up Brand. It is great.
I have been using Mac make up for about 5 years now and it has worked the best for me and it might be expensive but it will last you a really long time.
I have learned that in cosmetics you don't always get what you pay for. You don't always have to spend the big bucks to be satisfied with the results. It is about the quality of the makeup itself.





I use kms mineral essentials. It is quality 100% natural makeup. They don't put their money in fancy packaging and attractive website/advertising. They put it all in their cosmetics, and I love that. The makeup lasts all day, has built in sun protection and leaves your complexion looking flawless. The prices are much less than bare minerals and much better for your skin.
