Why do Girls/Women hide behind makeup , is it because they are scared to show themselve?

That may be true for some girls... Some girls like to enhance the features they already have... and some girls just like make-up. There are several reasons as to why a girl wears make-up... because im ugly. LOL Some girls were makeup to help stand out their features for example eyeliner and mascara helps make eyes brighter and more alive. Eye shadow helps bring out the color of your eyes if you do it properly. Lipstick and lips gloss helps make the lips stand out. Blush helps contour your face. Liquid foundation and concealer is use to cover imperfections like a pimple or discoloration. I personally think that make up is okay when use in moderation. for instance, i wear powder to even out my skin tone, and eyeliner/mascara to bring out my eyes. the concealer helps hide my acne. its not just for other people, it makes me feel pretty too.


and for the ladies who look like clowns; i guess they think they make themselves look prettier but they really don't.

not all, makeup can really enhance a face. Some people that wear makeup people don't even know that they wear alot, then without makeup they look really different. Idk i find makeup flattering on woman to an extent tthat'sno excessive
