What is it about celeb makeup and makeover shows' makeup?

Celeb makeup always looks great and the makeover shows gives tips but i dont think it really works unless you have expensive stuff..

*sigh----I'm always the cute goofy girl and i want to look somewhat sexy ya know?

What should i do? what makeup would you prefer?

I have milk chocolate skin so what products are there for dark skin? What is it about celeb makeup and makeover shows' makeup?
Those shows remind me of every time I go and get my hair done; it never comes out the same when I am at home. I would like to see those people two weeks after the show airs to see how well they have been keeping up with their makeovers.

As to what I prefer, I take someone (usually my daughter) with me to help me pick out makeup that looks good for my skin tone. It is usually maybelline, cover girl, or one of the other easy to find brands at any store, including walmart. What is it about celeb makeup and makeover shows' makeup?
They are only airbrushed on photos in magazines. they are NOT airbrushed at the oscars, and they still look good there. There are simple key tips to achieve their look using drugstore products. I'll teach you.

What the root of the problem may be is your brushes. Celebrities use fine quality brushes. the thing is, there's a brush set you can buy for cheap at drugstores. Its called POSH. they sell smooth, even, silky brushes for the face and eyes.

having the right brush will make any makeup work for you.

Here's some other tips.

Celebs never go too heavy on the blush. Blush has gone out of style when it's too dark. A great color i'd suggest for your skintone is maybelline dream mousse blush in *cloud nine*.

You have to know how to put on foundation properly for the flawless, celebrity-smooth skin you see on tv. I'll show you how:

1. apply a concealer on blemishes, and press down.

2. Using your fingers, blot on liquid foundation lightly, rubbing in circular motions on your forehead, your cheeks, and your nose.

3. if you want extra coverage, dust a powder on over that using a loose brush, not a sponge.

Polish the look using eyeliner only on your upper lashes, dotting in between, and then applying two coats of mascara. Once your mascara is on, use a pin to separate your lashes.

Have fun! Remember makeup is about being confident and making YOURSELF feel beautiful. Never feel like some silly celeb is more glamorous and perfect than you are!
They are airbrushed, and I'm sure you are just as beautiful. You should see them with out their makeup. I have! Try a mineral powder makeup in your tone, tan or dark. It gives a glow, and good coverage. Use a little bronzer, black mascara and a bronze or copper gloss. You'll be glowing and turning heads!
Celebrity makeup looks great because they match it and spray it on with special equipment. For a special occasion, you can have this done by an experienced makeup cosmotologist (just look up on the net in your area).

I like minimal foundation (mineral is enough), cream blush ( do not choose one too pinky- it will distract from your beautifully colored skin) and a smooth wine or similiar color lipstick/gloss. Lipstick looks best when applied with a lipstick brush (these brushes are reasonably priced and can be found at any drug store).

To look sexy, use 2 types shadow, one dark, one light (blue is great with dark eyes) and eyeliner - applying eyeliner can be difficult, so if you don't have a lot of experience, use the soft crayola type you can soften with a finger. Curly your lashes carefully. To make a curl hold longer, heat your curling thing just a tiny bit with a hair dryer- DO NOT OVERDO. Apply a smooth (not chunky) mascara.

Think classy and remember you are a lady and deserve a gentleman.

Now sit back and admire yourself in the mirror. .
one word. avon. it works for every 1
