Studio Makeup Academy?

Does anyone know someone who went to the Studio Makeup Academy in Cali? If so what were their thoughts on it?Studio Makeup Academy?
i work as a make up artist in l.a. and know a lot of people who went there. everyone says it is a great although expensive school. they teach you a lot about lighting which is really important in make up, sometimes more important than the make up itself if you don't have a skilled photographer. attending a school that teaches airbrushing is also crucial, because now with so many h.d. tv shows and films, you as an artist have to really soften the make up application because the picture is so much more clear., and the old traditional heavy make up of tv and film now looks just that: heavy and dated. i think studio make up academy is the one at sunset gower studios in hollywood, if so i have heard nothing but great things. whatever you do, don't attend m.u.d. in burbank, they are ridiculously expensive and teach somewhat dated applications and techniques. hope this helps you! good luck!Studio Makeup Academy?
