What would be appropriate makeup for an eleven year old in the show ring?

exactly what samantha said. i go to an AQHA show just about every weekend (when one's avaliable lol) and just recentely got bad from AQHYA worlds show. At all of our shows we wear mascara, eyeliner, blush, concelear, eye shadow, but we don't wear glitter....

and if we do halter or showmanship we do our nails with the fake nails because it looks better

and for all of u who haven't read the rule book: if the judge can't decide on which horse is better they choose which team they think is better and which color they like betterWhat would be appropriate makeup for an eleven year old in the show ring?
I started wearing make up when I was 13 in the ring. The thing about it though, is you can look nice when your talking to people on the ground with a little make up, but if you want anyone to notice your make up while your riding, it's like stage make up. It needs to be very bold and a lot of it!What would be appropriate makeup for an eleven year old in the show ring?
If it's English, then blush, that's it. You don't want to look too ostentatious in the show! Normally it would be ';none'; but a lot of people get nervous in the ring and get washed out and look very pale.

For Western, a lot of people go all out and even wear eye shadow that matches their showing outfit and horse!
well it depends what she is showing in but makeup isnt really needed? whenever i show all i do is wear cover up eyeliner and mascara but im 15 years old and i only want to look ohk for pictures and stuff but for hr, i woud recommend none. It is a horse show not a beauty pageant. soo any make up would be okay i guess? just dont do the whole glitter thing.

Hope i helped(:

Good Luck(:
you don't have to put makeup on in the show ring. Especially on an eleven year old. However if you want to I would put a little bit of eyeshadow, a tiny bit of mascara, and some lipgloss or lipstick. Nothing more. She's too young to be piling it on. But she doesn't have to wear any at all. Hope I helped! best of luck!
at that age i don't think she would need foundation, if she does..

a tiny bit of foundation not orange or anything.. just a tiny bit of highlighter for her cheeks.. do a wee bit of mascara at the edges of her eyelashes..and light tinted lip glossss, i know it sounds alot but just dont ovDoordoo it! x
light blush, light lip gloss (not the real shiny, just like strawberry chap stick to give it a slight color) and if she has blonde eyelash's, I would say a brown natural looking mascara.

You don't want one of those freaky little beauty queens out there, lol
i show western and my trainer has me wear lipstick, mascara, concealer, blush, eyeshadow, eyeliner, and then a glitter infused cheek dust. but then again when you get to my level, you have to go all out.
A tiny bit of clear gloss , some natural looking mascara maybe

But remember it is the horse that is bieng shown , not the child ! They will be looking for good turnout on the horse and the rider wearing correct clothes .
I don't think they mind what make-up you wear, but it wouldn't look right if you were wearing tons of coloured eye shadow. If I were you I wouldn't wear any.
dont wear any! you'll look fine without any! as long as youre wearing the correct attire and helmet, its all good
NONE the horse is on show, not YOU!
none ... even my 13 year old does not wear makeup into the ring she wants the focus to be on her horse not her.
personally i think none, but if you want to tinted mosturiser %26amp; a little blusher %26amp; little bit of mascara.
Lip gloss and maybe a hint of blush
none. For an eleven year old, none is the most appropriate.
None. There's nothing worse than a little girl with caked on makeup.
Glitter and blush but not too much blush.
