How come in pictures, my makeup never shows up?

you can barely see what i'm wearing...why is it? i wear foundation, eyeliner, and mascara and in pics it almost never show upHow come in pictures, my makeup never shows up?
because cameras use a tool built in to delete makeup from the picture.Btw you are on my contact list. How come in pictures, my makeup never shows up?
It's because of the lighting. The camera/film is always going to make you look washed out... that's why people on TV, in the movies, on the news, on broadway, etc... wear heavy makeup. They have to in order to show up on camera and not look like a ghost.

I don't recommend adding tons of makeup just to have it show up when you're taking pictures, unless you're doing professional photography. The whole objective in make-up application is to enhance your features while maintaining a natural look.

:)
You shouldn't be able to tell that you're wearing foundation and if you have dark hair I would imagine that eye liner and mascara will blend in too because of your dark lashes. Maybe take a pic with no make-up on and compare the two... the difference may be greater than you imagine.
I would guess either the flash on the camera is so strong it's making your make-up practically invisible, and/or your makeup is very light colored, somehow? I dunno, really. D:

That means you're doing it correctly. The key is not to look made up. If you wore make up to specifically look good in pictures, you'd end up looking like a clown when walking around in natural daylight.
because of the lighting. . . if your skin is a lighter tone than the camera will just see it as light -ness LOL ! what i mean tho is that the light around you refects onto your face . . . . makes a glare
SAME WITH ME! and i have light skin, and i put a good amount on. It's just the daylight so it cant be the lighting.. maybe it's just the angle or just because of how close or far the camera is.
The flash tends to wash out makeup if you don't wear very much.

You can always increase the contrast of the photos to make it show up more.
its better to look like you aren't wearing it, so obv you aren't wearing an excessive amount which is good. it looks natural
The lighting. And that is accually a good thing.

because the flash is on high or it's too bright.

foundation with high spf will show but in a very weird way like blotches all over.
because you hardly put any on

because of the settings on your camera
You probably don't apply as much as you think you do.
Because you've done a good job applying it.
Would you want it to???? It makes for a better pic because it looks natural
Good job looking natural! Keep up the good work.
