Can you go to a chanel or MAC counter and have them show you how to do normal daily makeup for free?

I have never been to a Chanel counter to get my makeup done but I have been to the Mac counter several times to get them to teach me different looks. You have to pay 拢30 and then they will do any look you want for your face. This 拢30 does go towards anything you buy at Mac though. So for eg. you pay your 拢30 and get your makeup done and then decide you want to buy the foundation they used etc and the total of the items comes to 拢35 - you will only pay 拢5 because the money you paid earlier counts towards the total. You can also ask for a trainee member of the Mac staff to do your makeup, which is a bit cheeky (they still know what they are doing but they aren't as experienced as other members). Getting a trainee to do your make up is usually free but don't worry about some novice doing your make up and completely messing up. I got a trainee to do my make up one time (it was the first time I ever got a look done at Mac) and he did the most amazing cat eye and flawless foundation etc. Plus, when a trainee is doing your make up there will always be a fulled trained member of staff keeping a close eye on him/her. ya just go to the counter and say you want to try some shades of makeup for everyday and the lady will do your face in the tones for every day then when the lady starts ask her what types of brushes shes useing and stuff good luck 8)
Yes. I went to a Dior counter and asked the counter assistant to find a foundation that matches my skin tone. They are there for a reason. lol

go to like a drugstore...not mac or chanel. there makeup is kinda expensive if you haven't noticed
i doubt it actaully they can mayby give u verbal advic but im not so such they can help u
